I imagine most practitioners would either fall into the implicitly trusting AI without double checking its outputs camp and the too suspicious of AI to use it camp with a very small group in the middle that is trying to diligently use AI in dentistry while being aware of its risks.
That's probably a pretty fair assessment - and all the more reason for us to be thinking about how we can objectively test various AI tools and provide education and resources to practititioners.
